For what it's worth, I think DTan's predictions are somewhat reasonable. I would not suggest that you stand a "good chance" to be admitted at Dartmouth, Columbia and Cornell, although your chances are in the competitive space, though "REACHY" for these schools (particularly Columbia). You MATCH up to UMich, NYU, CMU, Emory and BC. You are a MATCH to SAFETY at Lehigh and a SAFETY at Rutgers.

Since most of these schools take a holistic view of evaluating your applications, there are many factors that the adcoms will examine. Your essays and the way your EC's are viewed will factor into the decision-making process. Good luck to you!

I believe the selectivity of the business schools at some of these universities is being underrated.

Dartmouth and Columbia are stretches for anyone.

All these schools have reputable, popular business programs, and in many cases have separate admissions. Generally these programs are more selective than the rest of the school.

Not sure of NYU Stern or Mich acceptance rates but their business schools are very selective. Cornell AEM rate was 16% I believe last year. CMU Tepper was 17% and they've reported large increase in apps this year. I wouldn't call these "good" chance, not when they reject 5 out of 6, (but definitely has a chance at any incl the ivies).

Overall a good list.

I think the high math scores are great but not unusual for NYU/Cornell/CMU/Mich. The business ec's appear good. imo Rutgers-safety, Lehigh, BC match, the rest match/reach or reach.

UMich accepts 16% (115/716). I'm pretty sure that the accept rate will be lower this year. Michigan will still accept the same number of applicants this year however, but now that more people know about pre-admit to ROSS (first year this was possible was last year), more ppl will apply for the same number of spots. So I wouldn't be surprised to hear about an acceptance rate below 10% this year...

thanx everyone... i guess im just really worried in general
i know that i can potentially get rejected from everywhere... w/ midterms comin up (4 APs)... its just really hard to handle..!! err
