UVA is my first choice so please chance me! I may apply to an Ivy league so if you want to let me know about that too i would appreciate it!

you should probably take the Math II SAT Subject Test

yeah i wish i could have.. i took calculus bc last year so if i went and tried to take it now I know I wouldn't do well on it.. but last year i waited too late to do SAT II tests so i couldnt take math II.. do you think it willl really make a big difference?

i think u have a good chance at UVA- but if u scored a 2000+, then you'd be solid! make sure u write good essays b/c that is what REALLY counts

thank you! i am hoping to break 2000 w/ the SAT i just took :) .. and I am getting help with editing my essays so hopefulllllly they will be good.
anyone.. how about my chances at an ivy? maybe brown or dartmouth?

cornell ed - possible

Ivy league chances are probably low. Your chances will improve as your SATs do, so some lower-tiered Ivys are not out of your reach.

so which Ivy schools would you consider lower-tiered? someone above said Cornell ..are there any others?

I had Cornell in mind. There are some others, depending on who you ask. (Don't want to offend anyone, but maybe Dartmouth as well)

You have better chances at Cornell, though.

ok thank you! i will probably apply to Cornell. and what about UVA? are my chances good for there too? i'm also in-state.

They should be slightly better/similiar there. This is all assuming improved reading scores, however.

in at uva/low chance at any ivy
