Hooks:
- I moved right smack in the middle of Freshman Year, and my GPA/Rank suffered tremendously because of it, it took me all of frosh year to adapt, and starting sophomore year I was back on track. GPA: (9, 3.6) (10, 4.1) (11, 4.3) HUGE Upward Trend.
- When I was 6 years old I was hit by a SUV in my old town, after 7 surgeries and lots of pain and suffering I surpassed all of it and didn't give up my hopes and dreams, I will write my essay on this.
- First child in my family that is going to college in the United States. First Generation American.

I've Always taken the most challenging courses offered at my school (i.e all honors if not AP)

I know this is a lot, but if you guys can help me out that would be great! ty =)

bump please

No assuming on SAT I and SAT II scores....

um..what do you mean? the sat ii scores will all be over 700, and the 2100 sat i score is pretty high too (equal to about a 1400 on the old sat). 750~ math, 650+ verbal, 700+ writing is what I have roughly scored in the past weeks practice tests. Also, my AP tests are all 4s and 5s. Furthermore, I was told by people in my school that i have a pretty good shot ED, someone please evaluate my chances honestly.

I'm saying you can't assume those grades, because you haven't actually taken those tests. What if you "choke" again like you did in the past? Because, as of right now, your score is a 1940 ( which I commend you on BTW), but practice tests aren't real tests.

You want an honest evaluation? Well then no scores can be assumed.

hm, I understand where you're coming from, and I know it is naive of me to assume the scores I have stated, but I just wanted to know, as a third person perspective, and hypothetically, if I do get the scores that I am predicting (in one month I'll know for sure for the SAT I), and for the two SAT IIs, then what are my chances at JHU ED? thanks again =)

What is your soph/jr GPA? JHU ignores freshman yr...

my soph/junior gpa is about a 4.3W

Too many expectations.... Real stats needed for a real eval.

it's only 3 test scores that I am expecting, the rest of my stats are black and white, ecs, gpa, essays, recs, etc, and one sat ii. I was just wondering if someone could give an evaluation with my predicted stats for the 2 test scores.

you have a shot
apply early though.

my friend got in with almost the same stat as yours

Reach...do well on the sats. Good luck.

thank you =), more comments would be greatt

Yeah, I agree with sl1201, I knew a nice girl that had slightly worse stats than you and got in. She was really enthusiastic about JHU so maybe that helped though.

=) thanks, more comments plzz, and yes I am VERY enthusiastic about going to JHU, it's awesome.

I can't tell you anything that you haven't already heard, but you definitely have a shot. A friend of mine got into JHU with a 1340 SAT a few EC's but with a solid GPA/rank (top 2% or so). Good luck!

Hey, XindianX, did you cancel your June SAT II bio? (from your previous threads)

hey xindian,x, jc, did u get ur oct sat scores back yet? if so, any good news? if u dont wanna report, no biggie
