Fenced for seven years. Pretty much all of my voletnteer hours are helping out at tournaments. If accepted I will be on the team, but the coach can't give me much help because the program is so selective. I have one national medal. Have been nationaly ranked. Fenced at a world cup. A few good results at national compititions.

i got two good letters of recomendation. My school doesn't rank. I will be getting an interview.

im not an expert on this, but ur stats look reeeally good to me, and obviously the high math sat and physics c are really good for biomedical engineering. and the fencing thing's amazing. good luck on the math ii's. jw, would u still wanna go to jhu if u didnt get into bme, but got into the university?

well, if you don't get in BME but they think you are a good candidate for the school, they will accept you into the university and ask if you would mind attending under a different major. Nanijuh's right, that's a question that you must ask yourself - are you in love with the major or the university. If you're applying early and don't get into bme, the binding part is released, so that's a good aspect of it....good luck and remember, if you get in, you're gonna be at hopkins for the next four or more years....do you enjoy the school as much as the BME program?
