Chance me please. I'll give you an imaginary cookie. ^_^

Oh and I'm a Caucasian Male...
so those don't always help lol
my record is clean,
and I feel I'll get good recs.
(my teacher already said he'd be honored to write them while we were on a run back in like sophomore year lol)

I'm just trying to give you a accurate picture.

If ND is what you love, a big sports school with tons of spirit, you may want to reconsider NYU, Columbia, and BC. They will be a totally different experience.

Thats what I've been told in the past about NYU and Columbia and have been giving them second thoughts.
BC has weak school spirit?

BC has lots of school spirit. NYU and Columbia not so much.

Thats what I thought.
I always knew NYU and Columbia weren't like that.
I feel different draws to those schools.(all hypothetical... only matters if I don't get into ND lol)
Can anyone else weigh in on my chances? It would be much appreciated.

My turn! hehe

Well, I'm gonna be a junior in August. I so far have a very crappy SAT score. I have ~1550. I am the top 5 in all of my classes. Freshmen and sophomore year, I had a 4.0 GPA, weighted it should be ~4.17. I have 5 clubs that I am in and I am an officer in one of them.

What do you think my chances are to get a 2000 my the 2008 March test date? What should I do?

Also what are my chances getting into:
University of Southern California
University of California- Berkeley
University of Michigan- Ann Arbor
New York University
Farfetch: University of Pennsylvania

Extracurricular activities sophomore year: (All I am planning to continue till graduation)

My cousin went to USC but don't know if that's considered as alumni or not.

well until \you know test scores its kinda hard, but my advice would be get involved in atleast one sport. If can't play then I'd say manage. My cousin had good credentials then managed softball (for a sports thing) i believe and she got in everywhere she applied. I think. So keep up the good work and try to get involved in atleast one sports thing.

And guys dont forget to Chance me too at the top of the page. :D

what a homo "my turn heehe" grow a pair

dude its a girl
that would be bad if she did lol, so shut up.

thank you irish1089, and screw you branderson925... u're the one that's homo

Sorry, I didn't notice.
And Irish, don't condone her immature behavior of posting in other posters' topics. She has done it a lot and if your SAT is 1550/2400, not to be a snob, but just shut up and stop posting here.

Look, I'm really sorry if I offended anyone. I just really need help on my SAT scores. This is the first time I've been on a forum, and I am truly sorry if I offended anyone. I was not aware that we were not allowed to post other stuff on other people's forum. And again I'm very sorry, and I really hope everyone DOES condone my behavior. I did not mean to kindle an argument.

btw branderson925, I made my own thread, and I would really like it if you can help me. :)

what does her score have to do with it? but to Irish, i pretty much agree wtih orange glove's statement about reaches and matches etc. i go to sc right now and from what i see ur scores should fit just fine. to flh, don't worry about it, just don't do it from now. but to answer u, try to go into a sport, but again, ur sat is really important. just work as hard as u can, hopefully u will be taking maybe sat class or something, those always help

thank you so much rach0022! I am gonna take SAT classes during the summer for 8 weeks. So do you think it's possible for me to raise 500 points by March?

Are you a freshmen in USC?

I took the ACT in my freshman year from a talent search and got a 25.. I brought that up to a 31 by the end of my junior year. So I think you can do it.
Just keep practicing and learning lol.
and rach thanks for the input. (are you a freshman?)
That would make a nice rivalry with my sis at ND lol.
But sorry, I'll probably only look at USC if i don't get into ND.lol

wow irish1089, that's around 400 points! now i have even more confidence
sorry about taking up space from your thread, but do you have any suggestions as for practice books and materials?
I used barrons, do you think it's good? btw, as for the difficulty of SAT, is it similar to the collegeboard and barrons tests?

there is no wayyyyy in helll that you are going to raise your score 500 points sorry....your extremely lucky if it you raise it 200 and that is for anybody not just you

Hey irish, im gonna be a 2nd yr after this summer. haha yah, i understand that ND is ur top choice from ur name =)
