I visited but did not interview. I was wait-listed. I went back and visited again, and this time I interviewed. Then I sent them an e-mail and told them how much I wanted to go to GW. Only 10% got in off of the wait-list and I got in because they said I showed genuine interest.

So my advice to you is this...

Definitely interview. It's pretty painless; it's not like some schools where they ask you crazy questions. Also, apply ED if you can. Try to get your SAT around 2000.

If you do what I previously mentioned you have a decent shot. Also, I got nearly a full ride from Indiana, who has a great business school, so you might wanna apply there as well. It takes 5 minutes to apply (no essay) and they get back to you in 2-3 weeks.

Also, I saw you posted your chances at BU & Michigan. I applied to both and was rejected by both. And I wouldn't apply to UNC, the OOS kids that get in there have Ivy League stats.

yeah. i think if you apply RD you have a good shot at the waiting list. If you apply ED1 I would say you probably have a good shot of acceptance if you can get your SAT up to 630-650+ in each section.

Like he said.. interviewing and showing a lot of interest in the school is an important thing for boarderline canidate scuh as yourself. I would also say make sure you have a theme to your application. For buisness.. is there anything you can do to show them how interested you are? Organize a buisness fair or buisness project with FBLA. Get a leader position in that club as well. If you do that and get your SAT up I would say you were a competative applicant. good luck!
