Chances? Low gpa

I was just wondering what my chances may be for some of these schools i was looking at:

University of Arizona
Arizona State
UVM
University of Utah
Hofstra
West Virginia University
Uconn

My gpa is garbage, but has been on an upward trend:
Freshman year: 74 average
Sophomore year: 79 average
Junior year 1st semester: 87 average

Im taking an ACT prep class twice a week, so i plan on doing well on that. The reason my gpa was so bad was because i had some eye problems that gave me a huge reading disability. I had to go to the doctor 3 times a week sophomore year to correct them. I also had major ADD problems my freshman and sophomore year, and got treated for it just before junior year. (good essay topics i think, both of these were the cause of my upward trend in my grades.)

I dont have many EC's though which is a problem.
-2 years high school hockey (9 on club team)
-4 years high school golf (will be after hs) #1 team in the state
-worked as a golf caddy freshman year
-work currently at a day care type thing for kids 0-10

How am I looking so far for the colleges i might want to go to? I picked colleges that didn't look too hard to get into haha. Oh and btw my high school is ranked #2 in connecticut if that makes a difference.
Thanks!

the schools seem reasonable, with the exception of uconn, which is harder to get into.
lack of a huge EC resume should not be a problem as long as you show you are highly committed to the things you DO do. try to get a counselor to explain your medical issues, or include it as “additional information”

good luck!

University of Arizona - match
Arizona State - match
UVM - reach
University of Utah - match
Hofstra - match
West Virginia University - match
Uconn - high reach

Take the SATs school on east coast prefer that over ACT.

Match at most of them.

Good Luck!

thanks guys, and i took a test to see if i would do better on the sat or act, and it showed that i would score much higher on the act, which is why i’m taking classes for it
