Chances-Loyola Marymount University

I am a transfer student, I have taken only one semester, will be two before beginning classes at LMU if I were to get in. I am trying to get into the film program. My stats are as follows:

Courses taken-
Japanese
Writing Fiction
Life Drawing

I got two A's and a B+ My college GPA is 3.6

I understand I should have taken more General Ed's. but wasn't sure what I was going to do with my college career. My next semester will be all gen ed's. though. I was accepted into UNLV, if that gives more info.

I have several community services awards, EC's etc. I was told that the film program was hard to get into, if anyone could confirm or revise that statement that would be very helpful.

Also I am out of state.

Thank's for any help, it is greatly appreciated.

im pretty sure that lmus film program doesn't require a supplemental application or portfolio or anything, meaning if you get into the university, you get into the film school

oh, well that helps alot lol good thing to know. thanks.

bump

need more oppinions please, thanks.

I was just accepted to Chapman and LMU and waiting to hear from USC. Can I ask, why are you wanting to leave Chapman? You should consider transferring to UCLA. The dean from LMU is the new dean at UCLA (her alma mater).
