Chances @ McGill

Hi, everybody. My first choice is McGill, and I'm wondering what people think that my chances are. I'm a white male (will be a senior next year) from a small town in Minnesota, and I would be applying to the Faculty of Arts (I want to major in linguistics).

GPA: 3.844 unweighted—I slacked off a little sophomore year, and so it should get higher next year.
(unsure about weighted, but somewhat higher as I've gotten consistent A's in 3 AP classes)
SAT: 800-reading 680-math 800-writing
SAT IIs: 750-literature 770-biology-m
ACT: 32
Note that I am also at least commended for National Merit, and I think that I have at least a chance of getting semi-finalist (I am three points above last year's cut-off for my state).

Thanks in advance for your help.

my girlfriend is going there...
yeah u have a pretty f****in good chance.

Enjoy ur life hahahah

easy... you'll get in.

Thanks guys. Like I said, it's far and away my first choice, and I think that I'm going to have a majorly difficult time waiting for over a year before going to college. I've been reading a lot about McGill, and it seems like a truly perfect fit. Aargh—I'm so sick of living with my parents, living in my town, and most especially dealing with the stupid, stupid kids at my high school! I would still warmly welcome any comments about my chances for acceptance.

haha sick of ur parents? hahaha
well anways stay away from my girl BIC
lol haha.
sigh i wish there was a school that was like PUUurfect that i was 90% sure of getting into

My sister is there and both my parents went there. She loves it in Montreal mostly because the legal age is 18. But they pretty much only look at your grades and if you fit into the cutoff (for arts it should be around 85%) then you'll be fine. I am pretty sure that they don't even look at grades from before junior year either. You will honestly have no problem in my opinion.
