<p>Uprising senior... a bit nervous about all this, but I'd like to see where I stand.
Intended Major Physics (astrophysics track) at MCS
ACT: 33 Comp, 34 Reading & English, 33 Math, 30 Science 1st sitting
GPA: 98.8 of 100 weighted (coverts roughly to a bit over a 4.7)
Top 3.125% (rank 19 of 608) at a highly competitive public school
AP Courseload:
o Soph WHAP (5)
o Junior APUSH (DC<em>) , Eng Lang (DC</em>), Physics B (scores this july), Challenged Music Theory
o Senior Calc BC(DC<em>), Eng Lit(DCII</em><em>), Bio II, Gov, Econ Micro (challenging Macro)

Other courses included all Pre-AP/Honors and Sociology, Jazz Band, Music Theory II (tested out of I), Spanish 1-3, Marching Band (4 years), Mind Journeys (gifted and talented), Independent Study Mentorship (research with a mentor from a university into Music Composition)

Leadership National Honor Society Treasurer, Drumline Captain for Varsity Marching Band Senior Year (co-captain junior year)
Awards: National Hispanic Scholar (PSAT scores 201), Questbridge National College Prep Scholarship Winner, Presidents Award at school 2 years in a row, Division 1 performance at State competition for Percussion 2 consecutive years, Honorable mention at my school districts poetry competition 2 consecutive years, Reflections regional winner (poetry competition), and other various awards.
Other ECs: Work at a Boys Academy in the Summer getting community service for summer camps (100+ hours), Play Percussion, Jazz/Rock Guitar, and Piano, Have had my music compositions performed at my schools final concert, working on a novel, write tons of poetry, School Talent show, Science Club sophomore year.</p>
<p>PS: If you are wondering about all the music, I am intending to dual degree at CMellon through their BXA program with Music Composition.</p>
