What is your intended major? From the school list, I assume you are applying to engineering schools.
Your GPA is below average for UMich and your SAT is right at or slightly below average for UMich overall acceptance. The admission stat for CoE is even higher. So you would be a low reach for UMich CoE but high match for LSA.
For UIUC ENG, you GPA is below average while your SAT CR+M is at around 70%, so it would be a high match for you.
You are low reach for UCB engineering too unless you are in state.

Berkeley: mid reach
CMU: low reach
UMich: low reach
UT Austin: low reach
Georgia Tech: mid match
UIUC: low match

Good luck!

I’m assuming low reach is slightly below average and I stand a chance?
And yes, engineering.
So if I got my SAT to say 2250ish, will I be a match?

If you can bring up your GPA to 3.9 and SAT to 2200, you should be a match for UMich CoE.

what about berkeley?
and thanks!

For UCB oos, it would be around 2250+. Both UMich and UCB are very expensive for oos. Check out their tuition and your affordability before going further.

Berkley- Mid-reach
CMU- Low-reach
Ann Arbor- high-match/low-reach
UT Austin- High match
Georgia Tech- low-match
UIUC- low-match

I don’t know much about the other schools, but I’m looking into Georgia Tech and U of M as well. Based on what I’ve found I think you would have a solid chance at both schools, especially if you’re able to raise your SAT to a 2250. Good luck!

Berkeley: reach
CMU: low reach
Ann Arbor: high match
UT Austin: match
Georgia Tech: match
UIUC: match
