Essays
My English teacher likes it so theres that. But I think its pretty representative of myself.

Recs
1. 10th Modern Euro/debate coach. She's known me forever and loves me and will write a really good one, probably talking about how much I matured in her class and throughout high school. Also shes the faculty debate sponsor so I've interacted with her a bunch. 8-9/10
2. 9 and 11th Bio teacher. Also adored me. I participated a lot in that class and contributed a ton so I think they'll write a good one for me. 8-9/10
Guidance Counseler- its a small school so everyone knows the guy but we are pretty good friends and he does Ultimate Frisbee so we're kinda tight 7-8/10

Jobs
USSF Certified 8 Referee 10-12

Other:
My parents are both from India. They're both doctors and make 200,000+ a year. I think the worst thing about my application is my grades.

Other schools I'm thinking about applying to:
UVA, UNC Chapel Hill, GA tech, Duke, WashU and Carnegie Mellon.

Thanks a ton!

If you had 3.9+ 10-12 grade, you should be okay academically. Also, unless you didn’t say some stuff, I would view your EC’s as a laundry list with no real depth. I’d still say reach given the 8% acceptance rate.

Your GPA might hurt you, but the fact that you’re indian and that 35 act score could really help.
Write amazing essays and you definitely have a chance

Thanks for responding! But do you think 5 years of robotics and 4 years volunteering at the same hospital and like 4 years of debate and 4 years of scholars bowl and SGA not enough depth? I’m not trying to sound mean or ******y just wondering!

@scderek4, Indian counts as Asian. I don’t think it’d help too much at all. I’m gonna say reach, here, due to that class rank and UW GPA.
