-President of National Honor Society: I really wanted this spot because I get to give a speech at graduation which I know is kind of low. One of my biggest accomplishments because I am in love with service and everything that has to do with community. This was really important to me and I wanted to make my mother happy.
-Created a Club known as Girl UP which raises money for the United Nations for Girls all over the world (President). Far most one of my biggest accomplishments ever! I really love Girl Up and it’s extremely important to me and my little baby, that I nourished! One of the supported girls all over the world. One thing we started a drive at our school that collects pads, tampons, and other stuff for women at Haven for Hope. Created an annual color run called: Girl ^Get Up was one open to the whole city. Started a girl’s camp over the summer that has different activities for girls at my school that talk about careers and getting in touch with who you want to be! I was featured in the Yearbook!
-Participate in food distribution every month at church!
-Round Table (We talk about Social Issues and problems) linked up with Girl Up and made a culture fest at my school.
-Future Physicians Club (Secretary); Just a career based club where talk about health professions and visit different
-Youth Community Outreach Leader for church; I organize all the community service activities and clothing distributions that youth in the church does. Also super important to me and I loved it so much! We revamped a clothing distribution at our church and it was super successful. Clothing distribution linked up with the food distribution as well. I love it we’ve done a lot as a group of youth :slight_smile:
-African-American Culture Club

I retook my SAT by the way from the previous thread

You will know in a few days.

@CADREAMIN I’m a junior

About 60,000 seniors (and most bopping around this USC site currently) are waiting for results to be released in about 48 hours, so I think they are distracted for now - besides chance me threads for USC mean very little since they are so holistic. Best to start here. Good luck!

Only replying because you asked me to chance you back and I’m a good person lol I do think Chance Me threads are kinda silly, but that being said, I think you’re definitely on the right track. Like, I don’t really even have any suggestions for you because your stats, etc. are so impressive and you have such good hooks (URM + first-gen). Just remember that it’s good to have a lot of ECs, but it’s even better if you’re able to elaborate on each one and explain how you use your role as _____ to help your family, community, school, etc. - though it seems you’re doing a good job of that already :slight_smile: good luck next year!

Hi! I think your ECs and hooks are decent, but your SAT and GPA are a little low for USC’s average. Nevertheless, you should definitely consider applying. Best of luck!
