Chances me please (international transfer)

Intended major: AMEP

OOS and international
current school: top 5 university in mainland china
current major: microelectronics
GPA: 3.69/4 (all electrical eng, math, physics courses are A or A-)
no chemistry since it is not offered
TOEFL: 92 (not good but above the minimum)
No SAT(As a junior, I don't need to submit SAT)
Have taken Stanford summer school and have a gpa 4.13/4(one A+)
some EC (but I don't think they believe any ec from china)

any comments will be appreciated.

Chances should be very good. UW welcomes students from China. ECs not very important for international transfers. Good luck.

Chemistry is NOT required at UW. Do check on the transfer requirements (I presume you want to transfer to get your undergrad- BS- degree from UW). Also be sure to look at the breadth requirements to graduate from Letters and Sciences (the school the AMEP major is in). You will need social science and humanities credits as well as the physical science credits and credits for the major. Your knowledge of Chinese should help with the foreign language requirement. Be sure you want to meet all of the US college bachelor’s degree requirements (most will be similar to UW’s) before changing schools (I have no idea what is required of science majors in Chinese colleges).
