By the way can anyone tell me where the chances page is? (I’m new)

your stats are amazing. you’ll be a super competitive applicant. but, of course, nothing guarantees admission when there are 30,000 other super competitive applicants. you’ve done everything “right” up until this point. write a stellar essay, and make you sure highlight why Brown is the best place for you and how you’ll contribute to the community. i’m sure you’ll have good recs. and the rest is up to chance.

by the way, i don’t think you need to post on anymore “chance me” forums. honeslty, no one on here can say you’ll be accepted or not, and there’s not much you can improve upon.

Thanks ivygirl2 ! I know I shouldn’t really be posting because no one can really tell chances for getting in, but I guess I’m just a little bit nervous about the whole college application process. By the way, do you happen to know if Brown gives much aid to internationals? Thanks again!

Once a student is accepted, they receive as much aid as the financial aid office determines they need, international or not.

However, Brown is need-aware for international students (i.e. being international and applying for and needing aid decreases one’s chances).

With so many other applications to this remarkable school, your stats pale in comparison. I think your best bet (if you think you can handle studying in America, that is) is to go for a state university. Sorry.

^OP’s stats are sufficient. It’s other factors (Why Brown?, fit, not need-blind) that matter more with those stats.

I just wanted to make it clear that I have been living in the US for the past seven years so I think I can handle an American education quite well. My reason for interest in Brown is its PLME program for medicine which I wish to pursue. Brown has a great medical school and although it is difficult for me to get into it because it is so competitive, I feel like I can at least give it a try.
