Each of the programs is extremely different - One is through the J-School, one is through the B-School, one is a portfolio and MS joint program in advertising, one is a mass communications program focused on brand management, and one is at a college that is entirely focused on communications. I like all of them! Which one do you think sounds like the best fit for my background?

And do you think I will get into any of them?

anybody? no?

All I can say is you are way over-qualified for Virginia Commonwealth University and Miami Ad School. Trust me, you’ll be disappointed with those schools. So you can rule those two schools out. As for Northwestern and Emerson College, I’ve heard terrible things about those programs. The amount of money you have to pay to get a degree over there is not worth it. From looking at your background and experience, you’ve achieved way too much to sink to the level of these schools. My best suggestion for you is the Loyola University. It’s very competitive and they have a prestigious reputation for their IMC program. As much as it is competitive, your background and experience gives you an advantage to get in. I think you’re an ideal candidate for Loyola. If I were you I would aim for Loyola.

1) You revived a 2 year old thread.

2) Northwestern? “[…] sink to the level of”? You do realize Medill has been one of the top (if not the top) J-school for decades.
