my previous school didn't offer any honors or ap's
thus didn't get to take hard courses

i'm applying to
UC B
UCLA
UCDAVIS
Stanford
Cornell
Columbia
UPenn
John Hopkins
(below are canadian schools)
U of Guelph(my dad works there so tuition fees are free. probably my safety)
U of Waterloo
McMaster U

and i live in California
and my mom is a faculty member of UC B

Can you please tell my chances on those schools?
any suggested schools?
i want to major either in chemistry or biochem.

Overall, i know that i'm terrible in SAT scores and not much in EC's but nobody knows their future right?
taking your opinions would help me alot

thank you so much!!!!!

Idk how Californian citizenship works regarding the UC system,

But seeing as you have a 4.0, you have a solid shot at the UCs, lucky for you

they don't weigh the SAT too heavily, I know a lot of students who have gotten 1700s with good GPAs getting in to UCLA (with good ec's as well); Berkeley (UCB doesn't seem to weigh ECs as much, as long as you have a good GPA + SAT score)...

BUT I would strongly suggest you retake it again if you have the opportunity, judging from your SAT II scores, there's a strong possibility you could drastically improve like I did

I won't bother delving into the other schools, especially the Canadian ones lol

Anyway, gl.

thanks for honest opinions!
