Oh, and my prof from GU can write me a letter of rec. And I speak Korean at home.

i think you look wonderful, and i think you'll get in. good luck!

No doubt in. I looked at admissions stats from my high school last year at American, and I was surprised at how lenient they were. 3.3 GPA's/23 ACT's were admits.

Do you think I should still have my proffesor write me a letter of recommendation? Or is that overkill?

whoa! of course all this acceptance stuff is highly dependent on the overall application, and what a school needs from year-to-year, but notthat's high school stats are much lower than i've ever read, heard or seen at our high school. maybe someone had something they really wanted, so they took the 3.3, but that's the exception, not the rule. lonewolf, remember they are increasingly (DC) competitve, and give large scholarships only to those in the SAT 700 range. international interest and volunteerism remain huge. good luck.

lonewolf.....scores look awesome! You shouldn't have an issue. Good luck.
I am blown away by the acceptance of a 3.3 and 23 ACT which equals a 1,070 combined SAT V&M. I don't know anyone at AU that was accepted with stats that low. The stats usually are high 2000 in SATs and 3.5/3.6 UnWeighted.

oops....i meant ABOVE 2000 in SATs, not high 2000s, but i think you know what i meant, as a perfect score isn't even "high" 2000s, but 2400! :(
