im wondering how hard it is to get accepted in cornell for ED if i have good SAT 1/2 scores, high GPA, but really poor (almost nothing in particular) EC
please i need realistic answers...

Sounds like a last minute panic for not doing those ec's.

yes
but i am saying is it even worth applying if i only have high sat scores, high gpa, good teacher rec, and good personal essays, but mediocre EC?

so if i try writing my essay without trying to sound as if my sole purpose was to get into cornell, and also if i sound desperate, i still have a chance with mediocre EC's? i just want your opinion, even though you might not be quite sure

what are your ECs

I had pretty crappy EC's but excellent SAT's/SAT II's/AP's/GPA and got in regular decision.

norcalguy,
can you please tell me specifically how bad your EC was and how excellent your SAT 1/2, GPA, AP's were?
also how did you manage to write your essay well when you didnt have good EC's to inspire you?

can you please just tell us your EC list. We'll take your word on it that you have great everything academic, but alot of people assume you have to be an uber-kid to get in. It's true to a certain extent, but not to the extent many think. So let the proverbial jury of this forums posters decide just how mediocre your ECs are.

And with all due respect, your desire to know this information makes the help you seek no more urgently needed that anybody else needs help here. The application deadline is more than 3 months away. take a chill pill and have at least a LITTLE fun this summer :)
