A girl who goes to my school with the stats of 3.69uw and 1800-1900 claims she got accepted to Cornell by calling about two weeks ago. Shes a minority, so i guess that helped her app. She says she called and gave them a speech about how she needed to know whether she was in or not and then and there they told her she was in. However, shes not attending.

I wanted to know whether it is possible to call the school and get a decision? I called after she told me but had no luck, instead they just told me to check tomorrow at 5 online. I always blew Cornell off because I thought it was a huge reach for me, but now I’m thinking if she can get in, I might have a shot. I was just wondering if anyone else had found out already by calling.

and thats 1800-1900 for SAT

tashersXD- no you cant call cornell. plus, the admissions office WILL NOT answer ANY CALLS OR EMAILS regarding decisions for 2 days

People who ask for chances the DAY BEFORE the results come out should NOT be chanced.

Ranked 2??? God, that drops your chances right there.

^ ummm what? why not? everyone is apprehensive about their decision and wants to have a general idea of how they stand so that they don’t build themselves up for a big let down etc…

^Do you really want to worry at the last minute? Maybe you should have had “a general idea of how [you] stand” before you applied.
