I love people so freaked out that they write predicted Sat scores.

Its like: "I predict I'm gonna get a 4.0, Val out of a class of 750, 800m, 800v, 800w, perfect Sat2 scores, a 37 on the Act (yes I know they only go up to 36.) Oh I also plan on winning Intel, Getting 5's on 20 ap tests, starting an international charity for orphaned children in third world countries, getting recs from the president claiming he's my biological father, donating a 100,000 dollars to the arts building etc. Oh as for my EC's I plan on being captain in rowing, soccer, basketball, track, tennis, football, and ballet. I also plan on getting first in the nation at quiz bowl, physics bowl, science bowl, bio bowl, chem bowl, math bowl, bowling in general, bowling in cricket etc. Do you think this is good enough for Harvard?"

My advice? Chill and stop posting these stupid threads so early. I would only post if you are trying to decide on a college (i.e. find matches, safeties etc.)

It is much easier and less time consuming to simply go to the college board website and type "Harvard" in the search. Then look at the 25%-75% scores and see where you fall.

you seem super-talented and qualified, but i can't tell what you love. what really sets you on fire? curiosity + passion = acceptance. make sure you divide your activities into understandable groups that tell the adcom who you are.

Hook is a subjective term...I was an unattractive white male admitted RD with no real "hook" or anything that really stood out. Yes, you can get into Harvard with amazing recs, interviews, and the like (assuming other stats are also competitive). It also helps if your interviewer says he will "stop interviewing" if "you don't take this applicant." :p
