Well
Caucasian Male
Im a junior with a 3.2 uw(will change to 3.4 by the end of junior year)
im barely in the top 50%, but with my huge upward trend, by the end of this year i should at least be in the top 35%
Ide like to know my chances for
NYU CAS (number 1 choices! i want to go to either)
and NYU Gallatin (Gallitin because i want to take 5 foreign languages, and later go to grad school for education, and either become a foreign language teacehr for highschool, or like the military or somethin)

and
BU
Northeastern
Fordham
University of San Francisco
By the end of this year i should have a 3.4 uw amd 3.5 w

Im at a competitive public Highschool (according to Newsweek magazine it's the 673rd best highschool in the nation)

Im currently taking honors spanish 4 and honors pre calc.
Next year im taking (ap's and honors)

Piano- 1 year (not including school)
adn some more that i cant remember)

and i have a huge upward trend.

Im expecting a 31-32 on ACT (im pretty smart, just didnt try at the beggining of school.)
and anyone reccomend EA or ED to these schools

The huge upward trend ending with a 3.4 UW GPA and a 31-32 test score might help, but normally it takes a 3.6 UW and 29 ACT to get into NYU. You will be a slight reach at best with your statistics, especially considering your class rank. If you had any possible way of getting the GPA up to 3.5 UW, or 3.7 W, then you might have a chance because of the higher test scores.

You mention that you are trying to get into the top 35% of your high school class. Consider that 91% of the people at NYU were in the top 25% of their class and you can see why I don't rate your chances highly. Sorry.

Boston University would be slightly easier, but still a slight reach to reach. You would have better chances at schools like Fordham, Northeastern, Univ of Georgia, USF or lndiana University, all of which are closer matches with your current statistics.

I think you have posted before--and I'm guessing I gave the same chances back then.

I just looked and the answer is yes, I did give chances before--and yes, they are the same as before--although last time you didn't ask about NYU.

Fordham and Northeastern and maybe Boston...NYU I think will be a reach just work your butt of this year and next year. You gonna take subject tests? What about SATs?

well first off
i would liek to say u are amazing because u reply to llike every one of my posts first.
and

I could get it to about a 3.5 by half way through senior year.

And
Would applying ED help,
since it is my number 1 choice.
And what if i had amazing essays (amazing amazing)
and killer recs.
My teachers love me
My counselor loves me, and cant believe in how great of a comeback i have made in my academics.

on princeton review
it says that average uw gpa for gallatin is 3.4
so u think that would change my chances a bit if i applied to gallatin rather than CAS
