<p>Could anyone tell me how I stack up against these schools?</p>

<p>I'm currently a senior in high school and I'm getting my first quarter grades in a couple weeks. I'm caucasian and from a family that's doing fine economically. I go to a very competitive public school in the suburbs.</p>

<p>Weighted Cumulative GPA (as of Junior year...probably much higher this year): 3.6
Unweighted Cumulative GPA (as of Junior year): 3.511</p>

<p>Senior Year Classes:</p>

<p>-AP Calculus
-AP Politics/Government
-AP Physics C (with Calculus)
-Senior Senate
-English 12 - Wise Individualized Senior Experience (involves a lengthy project/internship).
-Orchestra</p>

<p>Extracurriculars/Awards:</p>

<p>-Worked at the local library from Sophomore year until present.
-Competitive pianist since 2nd grade. I mostly studied classical music, with a little bit of jazz. Studied at a well-known Conservatory, received "A"s in the NYSSMA performance festival.
-Keyboardist for a local progressive rock band since 11th grade. Participated in various "Battle of the Bands" events,
-High School Orchestra violinist (9-12)
-Destination Imagination (10) - Second place in state finals.
-Chess Club member (11-12)
-National Honor Society (11-12)
-First Nighter's Musical Award (10-12)
-Mentor and "Outreach Volunteer" for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). I volunteer regularly at JDRF fundraising events and annual walkathons. In addition, I help to organize events for newly-diagnosed children and their families.
-Won three racquetball tournaments.
-Played roller hockey until Junior year.</p>

<p>Yes, I agree. You are borderline for many of these schools and we'd need to see the SATs/ACTs to know if you have a chance or not.</p>

<p>CM, you are a very well rounded student. I think you have very solid grades and SAT scores and I think that you will most likely get into the follwing: BU, Fordham,Syracuse, PSU and Bing. NYU will probably be the most difficult to get into. Don't know too much about RPI and GWU. Good Luck!</p>

<p>I think you have a shot at NYU. Your SAT scores fall in the middle range and you seem to have a solid GPA.</p>
