Chances of a japanese intl student. Pleaseee help me!

HI! First post on CC. been a big fan for a looong time. (: anyways. I finally finished all of my apps and now im starting to freak out because i dont actually know where my safeties are etc etc. (WELL kind of, but I want some advice.)

I go to a pretty prestigious international school in asia and even UNC-Chapel Hill chose our school as one where they would sponsor their newfound full tuition scholarship etc etc. Our school is really wide known amongst international schools for being really really educational and having a mad hard grading system. The highest gpa in our class (which is the "smartest" class as noted by sat scores and gpa) is legit like only a 4.1 weighted. no one gets A's at our school unless you are a certified genius. umm anyways. here goes

weighted gpa: 3.8 ish
SAT: Verbal: 720, Math: 670 Writing: 690... (low... i know ): )
ACT: English: 30 Math: 34 Reading 33 Science 28 Composite 31
SAT IIs were REALLY LOW but im in AP classes!??!!? what happened! i dont remember them now if i do ill post them laterrr

I need a lot of financial aidd!

my common app essay got a lot of recognition from the english department at my school and its going to get published in a local university magazine. it was about the death of my father a few years back. ummm what else. oh yeah! the list of uni'S!

if you guys know which i would def get into and which i would def like please tell me!

plus. kinda want to join a sorority too! just keeping that in mind.

thank you so much everyone! i will definitely try to see if others will get in and stuff!

sorry AP SCORES
AP statistics 4
AP English Language 5
AP Macroecon 4

took all AP/Honors classes this year and took hardest route last year for classes-

To imply that a counselor can get someone in is misleading. Perhaps these schools don't get many applications from Japan and your counselor helps them find candidates? I hope they also promised her they would pony up lots of aid!

Your scores and needing aid will make the ivies, Williams, Wes, Duke and Colgate tough. There really are no safeties for an international needing aid but I think you have a shot at the others. Especially the schools in the South and MW that probably don't get many applicants from Japan.

japanese international - plus
low scores/grades - minus

Needs aid -- big minus.

You won't get in at Darthmouth, Duke (they have a thing for asian students), Columbia, Washington University, and Williams (is my personal favorite, they produce some outstanding students). You have a figthing shot at Oberlin, Colgate, Wellesley (not a bad place to be stuck), and Wesleyan. You might be able to slide into Middlebury, Macalaster and Vassar.
