Chances of a Summer Term at FSU

I applied by the January 14th deadline for summer and I really want to get in. I applied for the Editing, Writing, Media major, which is literally only 3 years old.
My SAT is a 1740 with a 620 in reading a 550 in Math and a 570 in writing and my ACT is a 26 composite (I make the minimal requirements as well on my ACT). FSU actually called my school asking what I was going to do about my math credits, because I was missing half a credit, which I hope shows interest. My GPA is a 3.0 and I think my weighted is a 3.4. I finished my missing math credit with an A, when previously it was an F.
I know this is a ton of information, but the decision date is in about a week and I'm nervous.

That F, if it is on your transcripts, will likely be a detractor for your application.

If you were not only missing a credit, but got an F, I hate to say it but things don’t look good for you.

Like I retook the class because I failed it my sophomore year, so it was for grade forgiveness. I looked up their policy on grade forgiveness and they said they would forgive a low grade only if the exact same course was taken, which it was and I got an A, and that made up my missing credit. Of course it’s on my transcripts, but if they see that I retook it, and got an A, that should be a good thing.

Not necessarily. FSU has in the past deferred or outright rejected people for just having one semester grade of a D during their freshman or sophomore years in high school.

What course was the F in? Was it Honors/AP?

Algebra 2 honors.

Just an update: I got in
