Chances of acceptance--and success

So Macalester seems flat-out awesome. I'd been looking at schools like Hendrix and Reed when I got a letter listing the things I'd find at Mac, including everything from however-many majors to the meaning of life. That caught my attention, and now I'm hooked.
Here are my stats:
32 ACT
3.9 unweighted GPA with many AP and honors classes
Class rank about 17/400
I want to major in anthropology or asian studies and take ROTC; a minor in creative writing would be amazing, but I'm not sure how good Mac's writing program is. I don't know if Mac even has a writing program....
I've taken Italian, French, and Japanese in high school; words are definitely my passion. I've been studying language on my own for my entire life, and if I'm not learning foreign words I'm writing fiction. In my most recent novel, I've got 8 chapters and change so far.
I'm a little low on math classes and was forced to audit 6 classes my sophomore year because I moved mid-semester. I've been a leader in JROTC, volunteered some, worked some, dabbled in sports, been in drama for two years, and belong to several academics honors whatnots like NHS. I haven't been terribly consistent with most extracurriculars, honestly, but that's not because they don't interest me. It's because EVERYTHING interests me.
Here's what I'm asking: How likely am I to be accepted, how likely am I to be happy and successful at Mac, and what is your favorite thing about Macalester?
