I am 24, and am applying for the fall of 2011 to the SFS at georgetown.

My high school GPA is horrid, 2.0 i believe.
I am currently attending a community college in california where my GPA will be 3.3 at the end of this semester and i will have 59 - 60 semester units, then in the spring I will be attending the american university of beirut where i will take 12 semester units.
I never took the SAT's but most colleges don't require them of students who have been out of high school for more than 5 years.

Extra Curricular :
-after high school i student taught 6th grade environmental science for 2 years
-served a two year full time voluntary religious mission for my church during which I held leadership positions.
-did boy scouts when i was younger
-played water polo all through high school, including varsity.
-i speak basic arabic, took it on myself to learn the language (rosseta stone, and will take more arabic classes while in beirut at the american university)
-I have travelled internationally, europe, eastern africaand by the time I apply i will be living in the middle east for a bit.
-while in africa participated in the board meeting of one of the largest feminist organizations in somalia, also attended the trial of political prisoners in Somalia.

while in the SFS i am planning on focusing on the middle east and north africa. Do i have a snowball's chance in hell, and what could I do to strengthen my chances?
