Chances of acceptance into CSULA

Im signing up for Cal State Universities, i know they use the EI rate and based on my CSU GPA on my high school transcript, my EI for the SAT is 4062.8 and for the ACT its a 948.2

CSU GPA: 3.941
SAT score: 910
ACT score: 16

MAJOR: NURSING

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA RESIDENT

My dream school is CSULA and i just wanted to see what my chances are of being accepted into that school, so if anyone can share their opinion it would be great, thanks!!

And chances of CSU’s as a whole

Which CSU’s since there are 23? You need to give posters a list other than CSULA.

CSULA looks like a probable match but I would definitely get your test scores up to make you have a solid chance at the Pre-Nursing major.

As of now CSU:
Dominguez Hills (not a BSN program but i will look into transfers to BSN program)
Northridge
Channel Islands
San Bernardino
Bakersfield
Fresno

Maybe, East Bay, Fullerton, Sac, LB, and San Fran State University

-applying to 10ish schools

@Gumbymom

I think you have a decent chance at all except for Fullerton/Northridge and Long Beach unless you bump up your test scores.
Since Nursing is impacted at all the CSU’s, you can probably get an acceptance into the CSU’s themselves but may not get into the Pre-Nursing programs that is why retaking your SAT and/or ACT will help.

Haven’t you posted this same questions on multiple occasions?

Now with an update on my EI, SAT score, and universities I am interested in @arc918

Gotcha, good luck.

I think you need to sign up soon for the September ACT.

@CheddarcheeseMN I already did. Also for the October SAT

Nursing is super competitive at all the CSUs and is very difficult to chance.

Apply to several and see what happens. I;d think your best shots are at LA,CI,SB and Bakersfield.

To other CC posters, please note that OP recalculated their CSU/UC GPA which is now 3.5 with an EI of 3710.

UPDATE-
I made a mistake when calculating my CSU/UC GPA and only put 5 semesters of H courses instead of 8. It is now a 3.72 and my EI is a 3886.
