Chances of acceptance/scholarship

could someone please tell me if my stats are high enough to recieve any kind of merit based aid.

SAT - V-620, M-710 Composite 1330
ACT - composite 30
GPA Weighted is 4.3
Unweighted is 3.99
I have taken 10 AP courses(A's in everything cept for AP Physics C)
I am ranked 14 out of 397
I have decent essays and very good recs
I have tons of EC's i dont have time to list them all but they include the basics like national honor society, President of Mu Alpha Theta, Captain soccer team, etc.

In the past, your chances would be good, as they used to have a program which qualifies at SAT of 1300+. But last year applications were a record high, increasing 13% over the previous year. Case was known for more merit aid than most places, but it does not seem anything is automaticly granted based on SATs now.

You should apply and see what happens; at many places, applying early helps your chances for a merit offer. In fact, U. of Rochester & Boston U. now state that the application must be in by 12/1 (RD) to be considered for merit aid. I have not heard of such a deadline at CWRU.

Here is Case's site for scholarhips:

There is no simple SAT level stated here, but many factors are now used including EC's & class rank.

Here is the link to the old forum. Last year in some cases, a March admission letter did not offer merit aid, but a subsequent letter did.

You don't state your major, but another place to consider might be Allegheny College - good programs in sciences & pre-med, and merit aid available.

thanks that was a lot of help. I applied Early Action back in october, had a alumnus interview, and I am majoring in Biomedical engineering.
