I'm a Sophomore in High School. I go to a Catholic school and I have a 3.8 GPA in my first quarter. I am the World News Editor for my school newspaper, a member in the World Affairs Club (might make President in my Junior year) and a member of Community Service Corps. I train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and physically fit. I plan on attending a Marine Military Summer Camp this summer. I do not do sports because I am involved in BJJ. Any tips or recommendations????

Thanks

the Class of 2016 (I am conditionally part of thanks to a LOA) might be the last class before a sudden decrease in the number accepted therefore I would suggest the following:

hit at least 1400 on SAT 2 subject
or at least 31 on Math and English on ACT

Get 2 leadership positions and do stuff in them- no less, but when someone hold 12 positions, it becomes questionable of whether they did anything in it

doing BJJ is NOT a problem but be able to list ur accomplishments in it

Make no less than B’s in the hardest classes
