<p>Could everyone tell me what my chances are of getting into UP. My weighted gpa is a 3.3 and I got a 1940 on the new sat's, which converts to a 1310 on the old ones. I've taken about two honors courses every year and I'm taking two AP courses my senior year. I have a few ec's, I've had a job since sophomore year, and I applied for summer courses. I want to major in pre-med. I've already been accepted to Pitt.</p>
<p>im about same as you. i have about 3.4 and 1320. i dont like my chances. i think both of us about 50-50 at best. psu loves the gpa. are you in state? ull get in if u are</p>

<p>Wow, you applied in-state in September and havent heard back yet? thats crazy. I applied with and 88.6 UW gpa, 1170 SAT from NY at the end of oct./early nov. and i got in on Dec. 2nd</p>
<p>any idea how that percentage translates into a 4.0 or 5.0 scale</p>
<p>I've got a 92 I believe percent and that's about a 3.5 so an 88 would probably be about a 3.0 or So.</p>
<p>I got in with the 3.5 and a (1260) one sitting I had (1270) composite</p>

<p>according to psu's scale an 85 is a 3.0</p>
