Chances of acceptance?

My SAT score was 1730 (530 reading, 610 math, 560 writing).

GPA: 4.0 (weighted: about 4.7)

I'm an honors student who does plenty of extracurricular activities. My only worry is my SAT score. I want to double major in Psychology and Voice Performance. Do I have a good shot to be accepted? I'm a junior now.

Maryland does care a lot about test scores, so definitely try to bring the CR and M scores up. They dont care about writing. Your gpa will help you a lot. Try taking the ACT. Most people do well on one or the other. Maybe you will have better luck with the ACT

With that SAT, you have only 5% chance of getting in at Maryland. Your r+m is only 1140 which puts you in the very bottom percentile. Their 25th percentile is at 1190. You need to get that SAT up ASAP.

Actually the 25% SAT score for the this years accepted applicants was 1260. The 75% was 1410.

You definitely need to improve your SAT score. The range for ACT was 28-32.
