anyways, just let me know if i have any chance at all. lol, thanks in advance

To be honest, I think you'll be fine even though Mass is arguably the hardest or 2nd hardest state to get into UConn from. Reasons why I think you'll get in:

A) Private school. UConn is dominated by public schoolers. Plus, going to a private school they'll ASSUME you'll be able to cough up those 30 G's
B) Class rank. UConn is as high on class rank as ANYONE. Although your GPA is lower than what UConn is looking for, you were in the top 10% which shows that you did great compared to your peers.
C) Great EC's and you said your essays/recs are great
D) Your SAT is higher than the average. The average SAT for the class of 2010 is 1199, and your s is a 1240

Seriously, APPLY EARLY. When I say early, I mean september. No joke...

I would put down roughly $150 that you'll get accepted...and i'm not an aggressive better.

money would not be a problem for me as i am not expecting aid or a scholarship. my class ranks is right around top 10% i believe, somewhere around there. Uconn is probably the "safety" school or so it seems to me.

I wouldn't put UCONN as a safety anymore. They are getting extremely tough when it comes to accepting people. People who would have gotten accepted for '09 didnt get accepted for '10. And next year it will only be harder. They are pushing very very hard to bring the school way up in ranking.

You will get in no problem

Hey, I'm a white jewish male from MA as well, but I went to public school :)

I got in with a nice scholarship so I don't think you will have a problem. Uconn is getting harder to get into, especially OOS, but your Stats should definitely put you over the top
