Were you in-state (a Florida resident) I'd say your chances are good, given what the current FTIC stats are. Out of state, your chances are a bit less, as FSU holds OOS kids to higher standards.

The Top 10% figure helps.

Remember that these stats can change greatly from year to year.

I suggest a SAT/ACT review course. Also take the ACT as you may well score higher on it. Also remember that FSU is very big on documented community service. A mitzvah must, so to speak.

Most kids who apply have at least 3 APs as I recall.

It really depends on how you do your junior and senior year. I did very well fr. and soph. year and then my grades really went downhill after junior year. FSU waited to make a decision until they saw my senior year coursework. By that point in time, I had all A's in all honors/AP courses. I'd say you have a pretty good shot at getting in, but just keep your grades up this year. Also, I'd say your SAT's are fine where they are. I had a 1910 and was accepted.

Good luck!
