Chances of Acceptance

Out of State

GPA- 3.24 (no honors or AP)

SAT- 990/1600
I predict my latest test scores will be 1050-1100

4x Varsity letters in Track/ Indoor Track
4x JV letters

All Conference Honorable Mention 2009 Indoor Track
School Record Holder

I'll have a pretty good essay btw.

25-75 percentile SATs are 1050-1260, average gpa is 3.56/4.0 . If you can get your SATs up you might have a decent chance, UMass is trying to bring in more out-of-state kids in order to get more tuition.

Are you good enough to get recruited for track, or are you a URM? That would help your chances a lot.

No, I’m not getting recruited for track but I’m sure I can walk on.

how about me? im from jersey
2.77/2.60 w/uw
225/609 w 259/609 uw
1380/2090 SAT got like 7 ECs including a job

Your test scores are good, your GPA is below average.

If UMass starts ramping up the number of OOS students, I think your chances are pretty decent. How tough is your school? How many APs have you taken?
