Extra Curricular Achievements:
Superior ratings in music performance assessment

and other various band things. (band takes up a lot of my time, sadly.)

Course rigor:
I only took 1 AP sophomore year (world history), but this year i took Calculus AB and BC. (calc 1 and 2), AP Physics mechanics and electromagnetism, AP English 3, AP US History and AP Environmental Science with a B total average for those classes. Senior year I am signed up for AP Statistics, AP Biology, AP economics, AP Psychology, and AP English 4.

Misc:
Strong essay writer
Great with interviews
moderatly successful at a nationally known highschool. (always places in top 100 high schools)
and devastatingly handsome. haha

If I can pull mostly As by midterm next year do I have a decent shot for admission at William and Mary? I'd be applying early admission, more than likely, and I have a strong interest in Neuroscience (not that it really matters.)
Thanks in advance!

Hard to say without knowing where you fall within the scope of your classmates. Do you know your rank? You took some tough classes, but getting a good amount of A’s is something W&M like to see. Do you have any leadership roles? Perhaps in band? I would seek those out ASAP if you don’t. Of course there are students who are admitted with plenty of B’s in (hard) classes, but I bet they have a unique gift or impressive extra curriculars (with leadership) to more than balance the lower GPA.
If you are certain W&M is the place for you, and you do not need any financial package (ask your parents!) then I would say you absolutely should apply ED for your best chance.

Honestly, you should probably be fine. I’m kind of surprised to see people saying that’s a low GPA. With hard classes, that’s a fine GPA for W&M.

On page 3, it says the OPs grading scale. An A in an AP class is worth 6, so his GPA is pretty low. Also, he said he mostly had Bs. I’d assume WM wants students who mostly have As and very, very few Bs.

Also, being out of state doesn’t help. Being male will help but I don’t know how much with that GPA.

You have a shot ,although odds are less than 50/50 in my view due to OOS and GPA (mostly B’s is not a fine GPA for W&M). Course rigor is good and in that regard I would suggests taking one more AP next year (maybe AP government). Also, if you did well on the AP exams, send W&M those scores too. Good idea to apply ED and also work like heck to raise those grades and take the SAT one more time and shoot for around 2200.
