Chances of admission?

Hi there!

I applied for Chapman EA and it is currently my #1 school. I applied with Undeclared as my first choice major, and Film Production as my second choice. I know film is what I want to go into, but at this point in time I do not have the experience most other film applicants have.

Here are my stats:
3.47 GPA W/3.45 UW
25 ACT composite, 28 on the writing portion

Extracurricular Activities:
Drama (3 Years)
Culinary Arts (3 Years)
Drama Club Officer (2 Years)
Shift Leader @ work
Hospitality Management- selective program at my school (1 year, 2 periods)

Honors:
Honor Roll (1 year)
Thespians Honors Society (3 Years)

I also believe that I am a strong writer, and worked very hard on my essay and supplemental questions.

Hi! im no expert but film production is a really hard major to get into. You have a better chance at getting accepted for undeclared. But keep in mind that once at Chapman it will also be very hard to apply for a major in Dodge.

All of Dodge is a tough ticket. You need to ask yourself if you’d be happy in another major at Chapman if you could never transfer into film.
