I’m a rising senior in high school. My grades have consistently been As and Bs but I got a C in my (regular) math class my last semester of junior year, though my grades in general were lower this year, and I do not have an upward trajectory. I was struggling with depression and other personal issues this year, but I know that’s not an excuse. My unweighted GPA is 3.45 and weighted is 4.0. My ACT score is a 32, though it is possible I might raise it a few points. and I take mostly honors and will have taken four total AP classes by the end of my high school career. I’m involved in my school’s high ranking academic decathlon team, and I’ve done multiple internships and 45+ hours of community service at the Boys and Girls Club and the local humane society. I also have Girl Scout’s bronze and silver awards. I’m planning to increase my grades a lot senior year. What are my chances of admittance?
Yes, you pretty much have guarunteed admission, they really like community service
So, if someone like me has a 3.5 UW with an upward trend, with 150 hours of community service and a 2100 on the SAT, as an in state resident, do I also have a good chance?
