<p>i have a cumulative 1270 on my SAT and a 3.5 average (not weighted) </p>
<p>I have taken all the AP classes my school has to offer and i spent all of junior year taken college classes as well </p>
<p>and im from the subcontinent </p>
<p>my essay is in the essay forum. and i have two great recommendations </p>

<p>you have good ECs, but your gpa and SAT scores are a bit on the low side for UNC, especially for out of state...did you apply EA? If so, you still have a small chance of admission, but if your essays are extraordinaire, then you have a much better chance.</p>
<p>If you apply RD, i would say that unless your essays are one of the best in the history of UNC, you have a very very minute chance of getting in.</p>
<p>When I went to the info session w/ and adcom, she said that "1300s is when it starts getting serious" w/ out of staters. I agree that your GPA and SATs are low. Your ECs show that you're involved but in only one of them do you have a leadership position. Unless you're a URM or have some hook that you're not telling us about, UNC-CH is a super reach; it's just too competitive out of state. In-state, it would be match/safety for you. I don't mean to be an a-hole, but that's the truth. I hope you prove me wrong in the spring.</p>
