Chances of being a Kotzen Scholarship winner for Simmons College

Hey guys, Simmons is my dream school, and I'm determined to be a recipient of the Kotzen Scholarship (free tuition, room and board, plus a $3,000 grant each year). I've been looking around the web and haven't found much information about the recipients rather than the standards put on the website.

I don't know my GPA on the 4.0 scale but it's an unweighted 96.
My SAT score was 1860 but I have a tutor and hopefully can raise my score 200-300 points (I took the first test without prep)
I'm the president and founder of an honor society chapter in my school, I'm going to be the EIC of yearbook (Junior EIC and department leader junior year, plus a member soph year), president of a charity organization chapter (VP junior year and member soph), EIC of the school newspaper and copy editor junior year, member of a few honor societies, secretary of the senior council, junior representative of the student government junior year, and I'm fairly confident my essays will be well received.
I've taken a lot of AP classes, and math beyond Algebra II (trig and pre-calc)
I have a lot of service hours from volunteering at my school

Do I have a shot at being a Kotzen scholar? Thank you so much for your help in advance! :)

I feel like there is barely any info on the Kotzen scholarship at all. Are you a senior? I’m a junior and I would love to find out if you win it or not! Please update as soon as you find out

Hi, sorry for the late reply! I’m a senior and I actually applied and was accepted to Simmons. I’ve visited a few times and spoke to the faculty, the scholarship count differs from year to year but there are usually 8-10 per class. I’m supposed to find out if I received the scholarship this week so I will update you. The average SAT (CR + Math) is in the high 1300s, not sure of the exact value, and the average GPA is 3.9. I will post my results to give you an idea based on my stats above. However, they say that the essay is weighted most heavily.

@GW3921 I wasn’t offered the scholarship but don’t give up hopes on that, you never know about next year!
