Chances of being accepted into CSU?

Hi,
I recently applied to SFSU, CSU Long Beach, Sonoma State, Sacramento State and SJSU.

I’m super anxious right now and I was just wondering if it would be possible for me to get into some of those schools and specifically SJSU and CSU Long Beach.

As of this semester, my stats are:

Major: Business, Marketing
Transferable GPA: 3.02
AA-T: No
Prereqs: No, missing Business Law and Calculus
Golden 4: A, A, C, C
Local: No

Also, it said on CSULB that they weren’t considering classes unless they were finished in summer 2019. I’m currently taking Managerial Accounting and Microeconomics and these were some recommended courses for my major. I was wondering if that would impact my admission decision.

Thank you!

Are you local to any of the CSU’s to which you applied?

SJSU lists their GPA threshold by major to give you an idea of your chances: http://www.sjsu.edu/admissions/impaction/impactionresultstransfer/index.html

For CSULB, you can check this link by major for the average CSU GPA of admitted students: https://data.ir.csulb.edu/t/IRA-Public/views/UndergraduateStudents/TransferAVGandSDofTransferGPA?:embed=y&:showAppBanner=false&:showShareOptions=true&:display_count=no&:showVizHome=no

For the rest of the CSU’s, you can use this chart to see where you stand: https://www2.calstate.edu/attend/counselor-resources/Documents/transfer-2018-admission-impaction-chart.pdf

i think SF is really likely to accept you. Sac and Sonoma probably will, the others, probably not.

good luck
