Chances of being accepted into CSULB??

I’m currently a junior and live in Florida but I’m curious about my chances of being accepted into cal state Long Beach.

My uc gpa would be a 3.58 capped and weighted which makes my EL: 4,034 although I used my psat scores because I have not yet taken the SAT or ACT (I am soon) based on this what are my chances or some other California schools I could get into??

Wait until you get your SAT score before compiling a list. Although your PSAT does give you a ball park of your possible SAT score, it would be better to have an actual score to zero in on specific schools.
With your current EI, all the Cal states with the exception of San Diego State and Cal poly SLO are possible. It will also depend upon intended major since Impacted/competitive majors require higher criteria for admission

Also be aware that the Cal states give little to no financial/merit aid so expect to pay full fees at $36-40K/year not including transportation costs.

Is affordability a factor? What can your parents pay/year for you to attend college?

California publics like I stated above will give little to no FA, so you would be full fees. You might want to look at some California privates: Chapman, University of La Verne, University of Redlands, St Mary’s College, University of the Pacific, University of San Diego, University of San Francisco, Whittier College to name a few. You might find that the private school’s costs can be lower than the state public schools.
