Chances of being accepted into PSEO

I was thinking of enrolling in Minnesota’s PSEO course in my junior year but I don’t know how good my chances are. This is what I had freshman year:
Pre-calc:A
Physics:A
Ap Human Geography: A
Spanish 1:A
Intro to Engineering and Design:A
Honors English 9:A
Gym and other elective class: A
GPA: 4.0 unweighted
And Projected Sophomore Year:
APUSH:A
CIS Calc: b+ or -a (b+ College grade)
Honors Chem: A
Honors English 10: A
Principles of Engineering: A
Gym and health: A
Spanish 2: A
Unweighted GPA: Around 3.9
I haven’t taken the official ACT and I heard that it isn’t that important. Finally, do they take anything else into consideration as well?

For PSEO, they really look at (a) courseload and rigor (i.e., they like to see at least a couple of APs so you should be good on that front), (b) test scores (i.e., ACT/SAT - you really need to have taken at least one and scored pretty well for acceptance), and © previous success in college-level coursework (i.e., APs, CIS, UMTYMP, etc). I know that the program is becoming more competitive and they have introduced minimum GPA requirements, but really, they are just looking at your ability to perform well in an academically rigorous setting.

Here is a link to more details. Apparently you need an unweighted GPA of 3.6.

My daughter is a junior and in her first year of PSEO at UMN. She was accepted with 3.95 unweighted, 4.2 weighted GPA. She had a 30 on her ACT at the time of her application and while not mandatory I think it may have helped. She had taken APUSH and AP Bio and gotten As in both so I think that also was a factor. Based on what you’ve posted I think you have a very good shot even though it has become ridiculously competitive…they advisors said they had to turn many high achieving students away in 2016.
