Chances of being accepted to ASU?

Ok I live in Phoenix, have a 3.1-3.2 GPA(should be higher by end of the year), have failed 1 class (college algebra), and got a 24 on the ACT. Applied yesterday and just wanting to know my chances. I heard its fairly easy to get into.

100 percent in.

i applied last week..
does anyone know how long it takes them to let you know if you're in or not?
I have a ASUrite ID thingy but they said my status is pending. Anyone know?

I applied yesterday, I think its about 2 weeks.

My D applied to ASU July 11th. She was accepted a couple weeks ago. You can check "MyASU" for your status.

She is out of state - 3.3 GPA - 28 ACT.

Agree NJ...My D applied in July as well...why not get one out of the way?! She heard by the 1st week in September (7 weeks time) via the "MyASU" account. Remember you need to allow for time for SAT or ACT scores to be recieved and logged in. Right now the College Board is saying score reports take 3-5 weeks for processing and delivery.

The nice thing about ASU is that they are extremely clear cut on what scores/GPA/class rank will get you in. See their website for more information.

If your daughter applied in July how did she receive her acceptance so quickly? When were her high school transcripts mailed in?

asu is rolling admission, they contact you about 2 weeks or so after you send in transcripts and test scores.

My D applied in July. Her guidance office at her school is open during the summer so they were able to send her transcripts in late July/early August. She had already taken her ACT so those results were sent in at the same time. As OaksMom said, it was great to get one application out of the way. Even better to have an acceptance in hand in early September.
