Hi there! I have recently applied to UGA (I am a resident of Georgia) and would like to know my chances of being accepted EA.
I have taken the most challenging courses available by my high school (in total I will complete 5 AP classes, the maximum offered by my HS). I have made all As except for an 89 in AP US History. (I have taken 3/5 AP classes so far and all pre-ap/honors)
I scored a 1920 on the SAT (I am retaking in Nov)
ECs are as follows: (I have more that I wish I could have included, but these are the ones I included in my application)
Majorettes (Captain-2 years)
FBLA Vice President (member for 4 years)
Big brothers/Big sisters (4 years)
Youth Leadership of Gordon County
Crown Senior Twirling team
Gymnastics teacher (and student)
Basketball (recreational)
Track and Field
Honors and awards:
Georgia certificate of merit
AP scholar award
Presidential community service award (silver and gold levels)
Ap government, honors literature, business top student award
Work:
Teaching baton classes to children
My class rank is currently #6 unweighted
I am Hispanic.
What do you think are my chances of being accepted EA? Or do you think I will be deferred to RD?
Thank you so much for your time! Any feedback is appreciated!

Bumppppppp

Definitely a shot at acceptance.

I have a friend that goes there now, she is also a hispanic, she was from FL, and she was accepted. She had an 1850 SAT, and her unweighted GPA was a 3.5. I think you have a pretty good chance :)

I chance back! :)

You have a great chance! Get your application in and don’t worry!

You have a great chance, but ECs play no part in EA for UGA. I also applied EA, and I’m anxious to find out!

Looks good to me!
