I always wanted to go here and I've been in contact with the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities since my freshman year of high school and I am now a senior. I've been to the campus & I love everything about this college. I didn't do so good on my ACT. What are my chances of being accepted?

ACT: 20
GPA: 3.69/4.0

Do I have a chance of being accepted to UMTC?

Your GPA is fine, but I would tell you to re-take the ACT if you could. It may be a reach for you depending on the college you apply to, and also a lot of other things.

extracurriculars?Any recognition in our out of school? Any certificates? Do you volunteer? Minority?

As for your ACT, out of their 7 colleges, the one with the lowest average act score would be the Education & Human Development college, with an ACT Average of 24.4.

GPA is not bad. However, the ACT score is really low. The problem is that the U of M doesn’t require an essay; therefore, you really can’t impress them with that. I guess you have to bank on your activities. Hopefully, they are substantial. All the best!!
