Hi, all , I have some questions regarding transferring to USC.

I've been in CC two years , wanna major in EE (changed from Math major).
I'm supposed to transfer this fall, but got rejected from all UC's because of overunits. The thing is I went University in China for 3 years. The counselor told me that the reason would be those units from China.
So in the following year,I'm going to try any private school who do not really care those units much. My current GPA is 3.80 and the total unit is 63. (but I'm taking 17uits right now, so I guess final GPA would be differnet) I Got a C from Eng Literature and B from Eng Writing, and all A from rest of courses (finish all math courses and most of science plus some GE)
So my question is ,

1) Does USC really put value on my previous school units ?
2) Would TOEFL anyhow "cover" my poor English scores if I got a good score on it?
3) Right now, there are two physics courses left, but I concern whether it's gonna be
too much units if I take them?
4) If there are enough units already(would be 80units total by this summer), then by next fall, I would have a year of Education gap, and I'm not sure if its gonna pull down chaces of admission?

I'm really upset by not being admitted this time, but I don't really want to give up.

so Any Information for my current situation would be greatly apprecieated,

Thank you all,,
