triad biosummer

I will also being applying to a lot of other schools by questbridge

my qpa is 4.96, my gpa is 3.92
my rank is 8 out of 400, but Itmight be worse or better, idk

Are you from NC? I’d say right now, with these stats, Elon is only likely. Maybe Chapel Hill if in-state is low reach.

Yeah, I am in NC. what would I need to work on to get into the other schools?
Is it just my testing scores, or are my EC. not enough as well

Sat score kills ur chance at duke but others might be possible

You have a chance at Wake Forest due to test scores are optional!

Aside from your test scores, I think you have a pretty good chance at Davidson, especially if you inform them about your finacial situation. You also probably have a good shot at Chapel Hill. It honestly is not that difficult to get accepted to UNC if you are in-state

thank you, I am probably going to apply to Davidson via questbridge, which is for people with lower income. hopefully that helps. thank you.

Your test scores clearly will kill your application. Everything else makes Elon and UNC seem very likely.

Based off of what I saw get into UNC-CH this year from our school, I’d say thats somewhere between a match and reach for you. Wake forest could be, but you’ve got to be really special to get in without test scores, very personable, etc. And Duke is very unlikely.

I think if you increase your SAT score to 2000+ (preferable 2100+) or ACT to 28+, you’d have a great shot at Davidson. Since it’s loan-free and meets full need, you shouldn’t have to worry about money. I’m attending next year and my income is roughly the same; I’m paying around 2k to go to Davidson.
