My one redeeming factor was my full scholarship study abroad exchange to india this summer. I've fallen in love with India. My passion is to learn Hindi and to spend as much time as possible to learn about the Indian culture even more, and Emory simply works. 1) they teach Hindi, 2) they have exchange programs to India 3) they have a big indian population, both Indian-American + Indian internationals 4) atlanta has a great indian community. I love India. Emory and their ties with India is my #1 reason of why I love Emory (among my other reasons).

Also, I have a lame senior year schedule.
Physics
AP Euro
AP Lit
French 6 (post-AP)
AP Calc AB
Econ/Gov... REGULAR.

My schedule wouldn't work with french 6 + AP Govt + AP Econ, and I love languages more than economics. Government, I would've liked to do but no room. Also, I'm a library aid for one period.

I visited Emory in April. My dad attended Emory for two years... not sure how that would factor in (probably nothing). My uncle went to Emory AND he graduated, :p

I'm trying to figure out ED + lack of aid vs. RD, so I'd like to know my chances for both.
