Chances of Following Evolution Classes?

Hi, I am applying for an exchange semester and want to follow upperclass evolution courses. These have pre-reqs which are the basic intro biology courses. I’m a biotechnology major so I’ve had cellular and microbial biology, as well as genetics and enzymology, general/bio-/organic chemistry, calculus, bioprocess engineering, etc. I am planning on taking an ecology course in May but this is after applying so I cannot submit this during applications. Next to secondary school I have not taken any classes focusing on evolution anymore, hence why I want to take them during my minor. Are there any chances of following evolutionary courses or will they simply dismiss me based on the pre-reqs? Thanks in advance!

Which UC’s are you targeting? I would contact the Academic advising department at each target school and ask your questions. They can tell you if not having all the pre-req’s will be an issue as an exchange student.

Thank for your reply! I’m hoping for Berkeley, UCLA or UCSD.
